1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Is It Bad .Email (the "Service"), operated by Maranatha Tech Solutions ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Is It Bad .Email is an email security analysis service. You submit emails to us (by forwarding or uploading), and we analyze them using automated tools to provide a security verdict ("Safe," "Suspicious," or "Dangerous"). We may also provide additional details such as risk signals, screenshots of linked pages, and attachment analysis.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • Our verdicts will be accurate, complete, or error-free
  • The Service will detect all phishing, scam, malware, or other threats
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or secure
  • Any email we label as "Safe" is in fact safe

Our analysis is automated and informational only. It should not be treated as professional security advice or as a guarantee of email safety. You should always exercise your own judgment when interacting with emails, links, and attachments.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MARANATHA TECH SOLUTIONS, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any verdict, analysis, or recommendation provided by the Service, including but not limited to incorrect verdicts that label a dangerous email as safe or a safe email as dangerous
  • Any action you take or fail to take based on the Service's output
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct on the Service
  • Any financial losses, identity theft, data breaches, or other damages resulting from phishing, scam, or malware emails that the Service failed to detect or incorrectly classified

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

5. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that no email security analysis tool is perfect. Phishing, scam, and malware techniques evolve constantly, and automated analysis has inherent limitations. By using the Service, you accept the risk that some threats may go undetected and that verdicts may occasionally be incorrect.

You are solely responsible for your decisions regarding emails, links, attachments, and any actions you take based on or despite our verdicts.

6. Accounts and Access

You may use the Service without an account (by forwarding emails to check@isitbad.email) or by creating an account for additional features. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activities under your account.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to submit emails in bulk for purposes other than legitimate security analysis
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service
  • Use the Service to harvest, collect, or store personal data about other people
  • Submit emails you do not have authorization to share
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Circumvent usage quotas, rate limits, or access controls
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Content You Submit

When you submit an email for analysis, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze that email content for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of content you submit.

You represent that you have the right to submit the emails you provide to us. If you forward emails received by third parties, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization to share that content.

9. Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the applicable rate.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

Refunds: We generally do not provide refunds. If you believe you were incorrectly charged, contact us at support@isitbad.email within 14 days of the charge.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We are not liable to you for any termination of your access.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maranatha Tech Solutions and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Marion County, Indiana.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
